Description

Honeycomb is a registered provider and registered charity providing safe, affordable housing and specialist support across Staffordshire, Cheshire and Derbyshire. From affordable rent to homelessness accommodation, domestic abuse refuges to new-build homes, we create safe spaces to make sure customers feel safe, secure and able to truly thrive in a happy home. Following a period of positive change and transformation, we are strengthening our executive leadership as we move towards growth and consistently high performance.

As Executive Director of Growth, Assets and Compliance, this is an opportunity to provide strategic leadership across a portfolio which encompasses asset management, repairs and maintenance, property compliance, health and safety, sustainability and growth. You will lead a proactive, intelligence-led approach to strategic asset management, strengthening data and assurance, improving performance and shaping future investment and sustainability plans.

You will also shape our growth strategy. Growth will include acquisitions, partnership working across Staffordshire, opportunities to manage or acquire homes and securing suitable properties that support services delivered by the Group’s charitable subsidiaries.

We are looking for an accomplished senior property leader with substantial strategic asset management experience and a strong understanding of compliance and property safety. You must have led strategic asset activity and demonstrate Board-level and regulatory credibility, and the horizon scanning skills to identify and address emerging risks.

With a customer-focused and highly collaborative approach, you’ll be a leader who balances empathy and support with clear accountability for delivering agreed outcomes. Both established executive directors and ambitious directors who can demonstrate executive readiness are encouraged to apply.
